The Comprehensive Policy on Childhood, Adolescence, and Youth reflects the importance the Cuban State places on the full development of children, adolescents, and young people. It responds to the current demographic and socioeconomic context and to the need to transform existing legislation in alignment with the Constitution of the Republic, approved in 2019.
This policy is aimed at integrating all the factors that influence the diverse conditions in which Cuban children, adolescents, and youth grow and develop. It seeks to articulate their rights and to recognize younger generations as strategic actors in national development.
