National Serial Publications Registration
Procedure: Registering Serial Publications in the National Serial Publications Registry
In accordance with the provisions of Law 162/2023 2023 "On Social Communication" in its article 30: The owners of all means of social communication in the media field have the obligation to register them in the national registries authorized for such purposes, based on what is regulated in this Law, its regulatory provision and current legislation.

Serial publications owned by State bodies, agencies, and entities; political, mass, and social organizations; media organizations; and other natural and legal persons, Cuban and foreign, who are permanently or temporarily residing in the country must be registered.
Documents to be submitted:
In order to initiate procedures on the the institutional website’s platform , submit the following documents in digital or printed format to the Directorate of Serial Publications and Websites:
Important remark: If the registration procedures are carried out online or in digital format, the digital signature must be certified, as established by the legislation for such purposes.
Response deadline:
Responses will be provided within 30 working days of submission.
Procedure: Literal Certification of Registration Data and/or Contents of Registry Files

To be the owner of a serial publication registered in the National Registry of Serial Publications.
Documents to be submitted:
Submit a document to the Directorate of Serial Publications and Websites, in digital or printed format, explaining why you are applying for literal certification of your registration data and/or contents of your registry file.
Response deadline:
The application will be answered within 7 working days of submission.
Procedure: Temporary Suspension or Cancellation of a Registration in the Interest of the Owner

To be the owner of a serial publication registered in the National Registry of Serial Publications.
Documents to be submitted:
Submit a document to the Directorate of Serial Publications and Websites, in digital or printed format, that reflects the reasons for requesting the temporary suspension or cancellation of its registration.

The application will be answered within 10 working days of submission.
