Fidel lives and will live forever, because his legacy, his work, and his unparalleled example accompany us in every idea, every action, every dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, on the ninth anniversary of his physical passing, the directors, officials, and workers of the Institute of Information and Social Communication gathered to remember Commander-in-Chief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, the book \"En la Era de Fidel Castro. Recuerdos de periodistas y comunicadores del ICS, la Radios y la Televisi\u00f3n\" (In the Era of Fidel Castro: Memories of Journalists and Communicators from ICS, Radio, and Television), by authors Ovidio Cabrera and Irma C\u00e1ceres, was presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Published by En Vivo Publishing House, the text is the third produced this year as a tribute to Fidel, and it gathers testimonies of encounters with the Leader of the Cuban Revolution, under the premise of gratitude for having been protagonists of an important part of humanity\u2019s history over the past two centuries and for having shared those moments with Fidel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rosal\u00eda Arn\u00e1ez, Irma C\u00e1ceres, Roberto Chile, Ra\u00fal Menchaca, and Belkys P\u00e9rez Cruz are some of the witnesses, among many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This morning\u2019s tribute was led by the youngest generation, who also paid homage to Commander-in-Chief. On this occasion, a group of schoolchildren of the Pioneer Organization from the Nicol\u00e1s Estevanez Murphy School, and their teachers, took part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, a recognition was also presented to En Vivo Publishing House, to its directors, authors, collaborators, editors, and designers. The award was received on their behalf by Director Norma G\u00e1lvez, from the hands of President of ICS Alfonso Noya Mart\u00ednez and Director of Communication of the Cuban Book Institute Ra\u00fal Morera. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Vivo recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, and this recognition is also granted for its extensive production over these years. With the conviction that Fidel continues to be a guide and inspiration, we remember him today, in what was also his home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
